When you receive a ‘Zero Generation' alert from Solar Analytics it means that the Solar Smart Monitor has detected no energy being produced from the solar inverter. This can be due to an inverter fault, a wiring fault or disconnection of the solar panels. Possible causes can include a tripped circuit breaker or blown fuse, faulty connectors, earth fault or faulty inverter.
It is also possible that a fault in the monitoring device can suggest zero production, even when this is not the case.
In the event of a Zero Generation alert, Solar Analytics will advise you of the recommended course of action to resolve the fault.
