To resolve the communications fault, restart your 3G Solar Analytics Monitoring device by switching the circuit breaker that is connected to the Solar Analytics device OFF for approximately 2 minutes, then switch it back ON.
The circuit breaker usually has SC-23 or KR-63 or the serial number sticker label on it.
In most cases, the Solar Analytics Monitoring device may be attached to the lighting circuit (Single-phase) or air conditioning circuit (Three-phase). (There are times where the Solar Analytics Monitoring device is connected to the Solar Main Supply Switch.) If you are unsure and are comfortable with turning the power off to the entire house you can turn the mains circuit breaker.
Unless you are a licensed electrician, NEVER touch any exposed wires in the switchboard.
After restarting, the lights on the device should behave in the following way:
- The L1 light should flash first and remain solid.
- The L2 light should flash and remain solid.
- The L3 light should flash and remain solid.
Allow 2 minutes to observe if all the 3 lights remain solid.
To confirm whether the communication has been re-established or not, please visit your Solar Analytics dashboard and check the Live Monitor.
If you start seeing data on the Live Monitor, this indicates that the communication has been re-established. You may need to refresh the page to see the changes.
If the 3 lights do not remain solid, after some time, or there is no data on the Live Monitor, please reply to the notification email with the description of the lighting pattern and we will get back to you within 48 hours.
