If you are not seeing any data on your dashboard (ie. it looks like the screenshot below) please try the following.
Restart your 3G Solar Analytics Monitoring device (located in your electrical meter board) by switching OFF the circuit breaker that the device is connected to for approximately 1 minute, then switching it back ON. When in doubt, please contact your Solar Analytics reseller for more information.
The relevant circuit breaker is usually labelled with SC-23, KR-63 or the device's serial number (ie. D999988887777).
If you at all uncertain, please contact your Solar Analytics reseller to find out which circuit breaker that they use to power up the Solar Analytics device.
In most cases, circuit breaker will be labelled with a Solar Analytics sticker. The device is often attached to the lighting or power circuit (on a single-phase property) or their own three phase circuit breaker (on a three-phase property).
If you are unable to locate the attached circuit breaker, only if you are comfortable and are certain, you may turn off the power to the entire house by switching off the mains circuit breaker to ensure you turn off the device.
Unless you are a licensed electrician, please do not unscrew the meter board and touch any exposed wires in the switchboard.
After restarting, the lights on the device should behave in the following way:
- The L1 light should flash first and then remain solid.
- The L2 light should flash first and then remain solid.
- The L3 light should flash first and then remain solid.
Please allow 2 minutes to observe if all the 3 lights remain solid.
To confirm whether the communication has been re-established, with enough data we will send you a confirmation email that the communications fault has been resolved. Or please visit your Solar Analytics dashboard and check the Live Monitor.
If you start seeing data on the Live Monitor this indicates that communication has been re-established. You may need to refresh the page to see the changes.
If the 3 lights do not go solid after some time or if there still is no data on the Live Monitor please reply to the notification email with a description of the lighting pattern and we will get back to you within 48 hours.
