This article outlines how to convert 5 minute data from the detailed site data CSV file into the desired time interval.
Resellers and installers have the ability to download the raw data for sites under a CSV format. Data download support article
If the 5 minute data resolution is too high and needs to be converted into 15 minutes, 30 minutes or 1 hour data you can do so by following these instructions:
On the detailed site data file you will be presented with four columns:
In the column F, create new time-stamps with the desired time interval. To do this, select the cell F1 and name appropriately. For this example we will name it "New Time-Stamp".
In cell G1, set the desired time interval.
If you want a time interval of 30 minutes you should type 0:30; for 1 hour type 1:00
Now with the cell selected (1) click on the drop down menu (2) and select General (3)
In Cell F2 type the following formula: =INT(C2/$G$1)*$G$1
With the cell selected scroll down to the end of the table. Select the whole F column by pressing 'Left Shift' + the las cell in the 'New Time Stamp' column. Press Ctrl+D to fill the whole column with the formula.
Select the whole table and then click 'Subtotal' under the Data section.
In the subtotal menu 'At each change in' select New Time Stamp
In 'use function' select Sum
In 'add subtotal to' select Energy Generated (Wh) and Energy Consumed (Wh). Click ok
This will give you the Energy Generated and the Energy consumed at the desired time interval.
If you want to display only the subtotals click on the little '3' button on the left hand-side - this will hide all the unnecessary intermediate rows.
