There are three ways you can be notified of any energy milestones or issues with your PV system and smart monitor.
The three icons found at the top right corner of your dashboard each represent the status of your PV system, smart monitor and energy achievements.
Solar System Fault
When our algorithm detects a potential fault in your PV system, the yellow icon will change its status from to
or
.
Clicking on the icon will take you to the performance page, showing you additional information about the problem and any necessary action to be taken.
If you’re interested in knowing how we detect these problems and how we calculate the performance percentage, click on the icon to find out more.
Note: Our algorithm needs at least 48 hours of data to determine you system's performance. If your device has just been installed, your dashboard is expected to show either a ‘Data calibrating’ or ‘Something is not right’ system status. Please give this a few days to adjust and if it’s still persisting, let us know through email or our support line 1300 651 137.
Solar Smart Monitor Fault
Any issues related to the smart monitor are displayed via the alert icon. The colour of the icon will change if there is a smart monitor fault.
Clicking on the alert icon will show you any additional information that we have about the problem and any action required by you to fix it.
Fun Fact Notifications
The bell-shaped icon notifies you when you’ve reached some interesting milestones with your solar, savings and energy use throughout the year. A red dot means we’ve got a new message for you.
Email Notification Alerts
You will also receive email notifications for fault alerts that requires special attention. Some of these alerts will be sent to the installer of your solar energy system on your behalf.
