A Zero Production alert is triggered when Solar Analytics detects no production for at least five minutes.
In the event of a Zero Production alert, we advise you to take the following actions as a matter of priority:
- Check the weather. If there is a weather event with very little sunshine for at least five minutes, then it is expected that our algorithms will detect zero production.
- If there appears to be adequate sunshine for solar production, check your inverter display and take note of any messages or alerts that may appear.
- Capture photo(s) of the inverter display.
- Contact your installer to pass this information and confirm the cause of the issue and have this resolved.
Please note that there are many reasons why your solar system may not be producing energy, and some may present a potential safety issue. Please do not climb on your roof or touch any components of your solar system.
